This battery earth wire, also known as a ground strap, connects the battery negative terminal to the motorcycle frame. It ensures reliable electrical grounding for stable power distribution and prevents starting issues. The braided design with ring terminals provides a secure, low-resistance connection.
Compatible with KTM EXC, XC, SX-F, 690 Enduro R/SMC R, RC4 R models (2014-2026 EU/US), Husqvarna 701 Enduro/Supermoto (2022-2026), GASGAS EC/EX/MC/ES/SM 700 (2022-2024), and earlier models back to 1997 including 250/300/350/450/500 EXC-F, XC-W, SX-F, 690 series. Fits most off-road and enduro bikes from these brands across multiple years and regions (EU/US/AU/GB).
Features durable braided copper construction for flexibility and high current capacity. Black protective sleeves on terminals resist abrasion and corrosion. Direct OEM replacement for battery wiring harness position #27 and battery assembly #6.
Installation is straightforward: disconnect battery, remove old strap, attach new ring terminals to battery negative and frame ground point, then reconnect. Ensure clean contact surfaces for optimal performance.
